Orgatec 2018 in Cologne, Germany
Thomas Fritzsche attended the ORGATEC 2018 from 23. - 26.10.2018 in Cologne.
It was his fourth consecutive visit to this trade-fair in Cologne since 2012.
The Orgatec 2018 shows, that the trend to an even more comfortable office environment contuinues. Elements of living room design are more and more moving into our offices and
furniture companies now focus on movable tables, that allow to work sitting or standing and even turn a table into a white-board.
Another trend that was clearly visible is recycling and cradle-to-cradle. Old materials are now integrated into furniture design and floor materials.
The focus of the Trend-Forum was the question, which kind of office design will support future demands best and it was quite clearly stated by most speakers, that the multi-space-concept will be the best as it offers an activity orientated mixture of different space.
For Thomas Fritzsche the ORGATEC is the best place to get inspired, to get updated and to develop new ideas for future projects.
